What is your role and what you focus on

As the founder of a charity fund, I am responsible for setting the overall vision and goals of the fund.

I play a key role in fundraising efforts and identifying potential donors and supporters.

Additionally, I am responsible for building and managing the team that will run the charity fund.
In summary, my role as a founder in a charity fund is critical. I set the vision and goals, fundraise, build and manage the team, and ensure progress is monitored and reported.

What kind of projects do you deal with, what tech-stack do you use and what is your infrastructure like?

Our infrastructure is built on a combination of VPS and Docker technology.

By utilizing multiple instances of Docker containers, we can run a wide range of applications, such as tests for children, data science calculations, our CRM, and an internal database.

The use of self-hosted VPS and Docker containers allows us to have full control over our environment, while also providing the flexibility to easily scale up or down as needed.

Our software stack is built using Python and Flask, which provide a reliable and efficient foundation for our applications.

Additionally, we utilize MySQL and Redis to support our databases and caching needs.

What are the main benefits SimpleBackups gives you?

We tried bash scripts, open-source solutions, but all of the failed on scale.

As a Charity Fund, we use Docker to deploy our applications and SimpleBackups to manage our MySQL databases.

SimpleBackups automatically creates, schedules, and manages backups for us, so I don't have to worry about it.

It also allows us to recover our databases to a specific point in time and sends notifications if any backups fail.
This ensures that our databases are always safe and secure.

Overall, it is an essential tool for us and have already saved crucial databases TWICE!
