The Temple of the Vedic Planetarium is a unique and ambitious project to make the vast culture and philosophy of the timeless Vedic tradition accessible to everyone. Vedic refers to the ancient culture of India and the sacred texts of wisdom called the Vedas which encompass all branches of human experience and knowledge, material and spiritual. The TOVP is a project of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), popularly known as the Hare Krishna Movement, currently under construction in Mayapur, West Bengal, India, scheduled to open in 2024.

We're about ~200 working on the all projects.

What is your role and what you focus on

I’m responsible for website design, development, and support, as well as server maintenance and support.

What kind of projects do you deal with, what tech-stack do you use and what is your infrastructure like?

Web apps development, testing, and integration, server maintenance, optimization, and security.

We use the LEMP stack (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP), running on a custom build server hosted at Vultr.

We are also actively using Amazon services, like S3 and Cloudfront.
