Supabase Select 2026 is this Friday, October 2, in San Francisco. We'll be there. We're also staying in the Bay Area around it, to meet the teams who back up their Supabase projects with us and the partners we build with.

What Supabase Select is
Select is Supabase's own conference: one curated day of talks by the Supabase team and the builders they invite.

The day is split across two stages. The Main Stage hosts fireside chats with well-known builders. The Build Stage is for feature deep dives, which is where Supabase shows what's coming next.
The speaker list is long and varied. Steve Wozniak, Andrew Ng and Garry Tan share it with Paul Copplestone and Ant Wilson, Supabase's CEO and CTO, and with product and engineering leads from OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe, Vercel and Replit. Deepthi Sigireddi, Supabase's Head of Databases, and Sugu Sougoumarane, Head of Multigres, are on it too. That's the part a backup company reads twice.
There's also an Ask Supabase booth, where you can take your hardest questions straight to the engineers who build it.
Why we're going
A lot of our recent work has gone into Supabase. What started as Postgres backups for Supabase projects now covers the rest of the project too: storage buckets, auth configuration, edge functions and project settings.
Conferences are where we hear what never shows up in a support ticket: how teams actually run Supabase in production, what they'd hate to lose, and which parts of their project they assume native backups already cover.
That last one matters most to us. We wrote up every gap in Supabase's native backup, and we'd like to hear which of them you've run into.
