Introducing Linear Backups

Feature

Your Linear workspace is where plans become work. It holds the issues, projects, documents, and conversations your team relies on every day.

Now it has an independent backup.

SimpleBackups keeps a scheduled, verifiable copy of your Linear workspace in storage you choose. If something goes wrong, you can recover a point in time without touching the original workspace.

Know what you have

Every run captures the work behind the work: issues and sub-issues, comments, projects, cycles, documents, initiatives, teams, labels, workflow states, and more. The relationships between records stay connected, so your archive remains useful when you need it.

Each run also shows exactly what was captured. You can verify the backup instead of assuming it worked.

Recover without overwriting

Choose the backup you need and restore it into a separate Linear workspace. Your source workspace is only ever read, never changed.

Restore progress stays visible while it runs. If it is interrupted, resume from where it stopped instead of starting again.

Linear Backups are available now. Read the setup guide or find us in the Linear Integrations directory.
