You can now send your backups to Sliplane, a Berlin-based platform with object storage hosted in Germany and in US East.
Sliplane storage is S3-compatible, so connecting it takes the endpoint and keys from your Sliplane dashboard and nothing else. From there it works like any other destination: pick it when you create a backup, or add it as a second copy on backups you already run.
- EU data residency. Choose the German region to keep backups under European law, or US East if that is where your stack lives.
- No egress or request fees. Sliplane bills on stored volume only, so restores and downloads cost nothing extra.
- Sliplane PostgreSQL, covered too. Add your Sliplane managed PostgreSQL database as a server and send its dumps to your Sliplane bucket or to any other provider.
- Multiple copies. Send the same backup to Sliplane and to a second provider or region at once.
